Bridgett Erickson
Bridgett has been inspired by many teachers in the Twin Cities. Her teaching is reflective of the many workshops she has attended, including Max Strom, Rod Stryker, Anna Forrest, Seane Corn, Cameron Shayne and Rolf Gates. Bridgett completed teacher training at CPY in 2005 and since has completed Khalsa Way teacher training with Gurmukh. Bridgett sees yoga as a way for students to change their external world through a commitment to internal exploration integrated with breath, meditation and asana. Her favorite perspective is upside-down -- especially during a long, prana-filled sarvangasana.
Her commitment to wellness that helped her find yoga also led her to the Health Journalism program at the University of Minnesota. While completing her Master of Arts in Journalism she helped launch the Health News Review and Wellness Works.
Bridgett lives in Linden Hills with her supportive husband and their son, Bennett. Bridgett loves time with family, playing with the family’s scruffy dog, and long walks and/or talks with friends.
