Jennifer Davis
My yoga journey began with an early interest in health and the body. Since childhood, I have been drawn to the healing powers of creative movement, beginning my exploration in dance and gymnastics. In 1992, I found my true passion in yoga and immersed myself in study and practice. During this time, I earned a BFA at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. After several years as a graphic designer, it became clear the fast paced advertising world was not for me. What kept me feeling healthy and centered was my daily yoga practice. I left my design career and became a yoga instructor.

I was certified in 2002 by Doug Swenson, one of the world's top instructors. In 2006, I completed training in Level 1 and 2 Thai Yoga Bodywork with Tanya Boigenzahn. I continue my study of anatomy and Body Mind Centering® with Suzanne River. As a teacher, I believe I am also a lifelong student. I am influenced by many styles of yoga including Sivananda, Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Anusara, and Iyengar.

My classes are a unique blend of my varied education. I provide a strong focus on alignment as well as linking breath with movement. While encouraging students to enjoy yoga, I invite them to challenge their bodies and minds. Read more about Jennifer at her website www.3littlepigeons.com
