Tara Cindy Sherman
Tara Cindy Sherman began her study of meditation and yoga over 15 years ago. Since that time, both practices have been a source of strength and healing in her life.

She has taught yoga full-time for 10 years and draws inspiration from her certification trainings: Ananda, Kripalu, Atma, and Doug Swenson. She also cherishes her personal practice and the many gifted instructors she has experienced over the years.

Yoga has been a powerful tool for transformation of old wounds which has helped Tara awaken to greater levels of creativity and joy. For that very reason, she volunteers teaching yoga to "at-risk youth" at a St. Paul high school.

Music, art, and dance are also important in her life. She incorporates these elements into her classes through yoga dance, kirtan (call and response chanting/singing), and drumming.

Connection to Source, self-love, acceptance, lifelong friendships, and community are some of the gifts of yoga that she treasures most.
