The main questions I ask myself are what does Yoga give me? When I experience yoga, what happens? In my practice I have found that acceptance, connection, lightness, openness, presence and wellbeing are embodied through the art of yoga. Through teaching I hope to share what jewels yoga has given me in an effort to help others open up to their truth, feel light, and ease in their bodies. "Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway." Eleanor Roosevelt.

What I love about yoga is the beautiful feeling that you get not only in the physical body but mentally and spiritually. I started my journey with yoga in 1998 while attending The South Dakota School of Massage Therapy, and after much inspiration from my mother decided to continue my passion for the practice. In 2009 I completed the 230-hour Yoga Study Teacher Training Program at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis, and my focus is primarily in Yin/Restorative yoga with a large emphasis on Meditation/Yoga Nidra.
