Theresa Hutch
I started my journey with yoga and breath-work 10 years ago in a small studio in St. Paul. I had a lot of creative energy that always seemed to be circling around my head, and once I personally experienced the power of
yoga, I was able to find calm in my busy mind and body. I’ve been hooked ever since.
Since then, yoga has become an important part of my everyday life. I received my 230-hour yoga teacher certification from the Yoga Center of Minneapolis in May of 2011. Teaching art in a high school setting for nine years has given me an ability to address the different needs of everyone who enters class.
I feel honored to be both a yoga teacher and a yoga student who is always open to learn new ways to think about, and experience yoga. My mentors are all around me: both the other teachers and my students.
Three Things That Make Theresa Happy:
• For fun I love to visit museums, paint and create work that is new and fresh.
• I am a storyteller and I enjoy listening to music that has a story theme.
• I also like to spend time with my family. Small kids are great yogis; they are really flexible and are always living in the moment!
