Can't touch your toes? Is your low back chronically tight? Do your shoulders and upper back feel like they will never release? This unique class, open to all levels, is specifically designed to increase flexibility safely and with precise alignment to avoid overstretching. Whether you think you are flexible enough to practice yoga, or if you just want to continue exploring flexibility, this class is for you! We will begin by focusing on the breath. Slowly bringing movement into the practice, we will build heat in the body preparing us to patiently stretch and increase flexibility. Leave feeling light and refreshed. No matter what you current level of flexability, you can benefit from this fun and gentle class. Led by certified yoga teacher Jennifer Davis. What you will learn: • How to sense where you have room to open the body • Yoga poses to help stretch and open the body safely • How to breathe properly and help relax sore, tight muscles • The benefits of a integrating a yoga practice into your life The Result: Feel the benefits of releasing tightness and stress that you may have held onto for years! *Spring Quarter Session MAKE-UP POLICY: If your teacher offers more than one class a week, you may make-up 2 of your missed classes by the end of Spring Quarter, June 29, 2008. Make-ups are to be done with your same instructor in any of their OTHER classes. When you attend your make-up class, be sure to check in at the front desk as a "Make-Up." Registration Info: Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Please register early as space is limited. Cancellation Policy: Full payment reserves your space. There are no refunds. If you cancel more than 24 hours prior to the beginning of the workshop, your payment is transferred to a studio credit that you can use for any Yoga Center product or service. Studio credits have no expiration date. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the beginning of the workshop, you forfeit your payment. |
