Class Description

This 6 week session is the perfect place for a beginner to start learning the nuts and bolts of yoga. Learn basic Hatha yoga poses such as Triangle, Warrior, Downward Dog, etc. as well as breathing and relaxation techniques. No experience necessary.

What you will learn:
• Basic yoga poses to help stretch and open the body safely
• How to breathe properly and help relax the nervous system
• Relaxation and meditation techniques
• The benefits of a integrating a yoga practice into your life

Beginning Yoga for Kids
Yoga Center opportunities for children to begin yoga with a parent or on their own:
Yoga Bonding® Postnatal (birth to crawling) with parent
Kids yoga weekly classes
• All children and teens ages 11 and up are always welcome in any of our Beginning Yoga classes with or without parent.
