| Rachel Hiltsley Rachel has studied yoga for a while now, beginning with the Ashtanga Primary Series classes her roommate dragged her to with promises of taking her to dinner afterward. It seems every roommate she has ever had tried to convince her yoga was the best thing ever. It was a hard sell as Rachel considered herself intellectually beyond the need to move her physical body. In other words, she was lazy. On a whim she decided to take the teacher training at the yoga center. She'd been going to yoga for a few months and was convinced she would make a great teacher (sometimes Rachel's ego gets real big, see). Turned out she really liked it, so much so that she went on to complete the Jivamukti Yoga teacher training. Rachel believes that life is beautiful, awe-inspiring, and hilarious. Careful when taking a walk with her, as she's liable to stop to watch ants running across the sidewalk. She bows at the lotus feet of her teachers David Life Ji and Sharon Gannon Devi, Chris Balser, Tanya Boigenzahn, Manorama Devi, and her incredible, supportive parents, friends and family. Om bolo sat guru bhagavan ki. jai! Back to Instructors & Staff Info page |
