Bodywork Basics: Level 2 with Tanya Boigenzahn NCBTMB & THAI approved for 30 hours Certification Program Details | About Thai Massage Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | Continuing Ed Workshops MARCH 2008 SESSION - 30 Hours When: March 13-16, 2008 Cost: $600 ($650 after Feb 13); $300 for Level 2 repeaters ($325 after Feb 13) JULY 2008 SESSION - 30 Hours When: July 16-19, 2008 Cost: $600 ($650 after June 16); $300 for Level 2 repeaters ($325 after June 16) Times: Wed-Fri: 9-5pm | Sat: 1-7pm NOTE: This training is scheduled back-to-back with Level 1 running July 16-19. Register for both trainings for $1100 ($1200 after June 12). To learn more about Thai Yoga Bodywork, please visit our Level 1 page. What You Will Learn in Level 2: This 30 hour training is the second course in the 100 hour Basic Certification or 200 Hour Advanced Certification in Thai Yoga Bodywork. Students will learn how to create a 2 hour session that includes a full body treatment, as well as how to adjust their sessions depending on their client's needs. We will continue to learn how energy moves through the body from an Eastern perspective, and how this knowledge can help with relieving certain common conditions such as neck and shoulder pain, poor digestion, low energy, PMS, etc. Students will also learn: • 3 new sequences: Side-lying, Inverted, and Abdominal • New sequences for Legs, Prone and Seated positions • Intermediate Thai Yoga Bodywork techniques that you can use in place of your Level 1 techniques for appropriate clients • Specific info on the Sen (meridians), acupressure points and methodology for various conditions • Basic foot and hand reflexology • New healing energy techniques connecting chakras and limbs • More about the tradition of Thai massage, including morning ceremony and how to make a puja table (fire offering) To Register: Call the Yoga Center at 612.436.4700 Register

Cancellation Policy for Thai Yoga Basics: A $250 non-refundable deposit reserves your space. Full payment is due the day of the event. If you cancel more than 24 hours prior to the beginning of the workshop, your payment, less the $250 deposit, will be refunded. If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the beginning of the workshop, you forfeit your payment. |
